I like your Weird Al

I was having lunch with my mum, but it was not only us at the table. There was a girl and her mum sitting with us. I was not finished yet, when my mum remembered she had left something in her room.

She left, and since the girl sitting with us was reasonably attractive, I felt a little ashamed about the way I was eating. The food I was eating appeared to share some characteristics with soup, because I was finishing it like I finish my soups: when there was only a little liquid left at the bowl, I drink it over the edge, and help any solidish pieces with my spoon. Although Asian regions drink their soup, so I don’t know why I should be ashamed about how I eat my soup. I could take the bowl with both hands, drink it from the start, and say I am eating soup like the Asians do.

A wild waiter appeared, asking if I wanted anything else, I said no. The bill came to 97 money units, and it appeared mum left me on purpose, because she wanted me to pay for what she ordered. But then mum came back, and I left paying to her, because in no way was my meal that expensive. As she was paying, I asked why is the food so expensive here, the waiter looked up, and I realised I picked the wrong moment to ask this.

My mum wanted me to meet some worker there, but despite going around in the glass windowed corridor, she could not find her, and I decided to leave. I wanted to take the closest stairs, since I remembered from a previous dream that the compartments were connected. But since it was a dorm-like section, and there were some weird kids fighting, I decided to take the lift. It seemed a little strange to me that the next section was shielded off with a grilled door, but it wasn't locked, so I slid it open, and reclosed it behind me. It appeared it was locked, but it was like a childproof lock, so I just put it back on the little hook that was supposed to make it harder to open.

The lifts were also shielded off, with draped room separators, like you would see in a hospital. But the lifts were working, there was a nurse waiting for one of them. I slid behind the curtains, and took the lift. Inside, I accidentally pushed the switch in the middle, but then I quickly pushed the right button, and turned the switch off. I don’t know what it did.

When I arrived on my floor, the lift opened up to a white room that resembled what we usually perceive as space ship style. The next room appeared to be upside down, but it might have been the distortion of the glass window on the door. The upside down figure did not look like a human, it looked like Zoidberg after shedding his worn out shell. The door opened, and behind it was a larger room with similar design, but more darker, metallic colours.

I was greeted with two spaced apart rows on Zoidberg-like creatures pointing guns at me dressed in white, and from the far end of the room, a being with a blue uniform came towards me with visible energy between his hands. I repeatedly asked the guns to be put down, but they were still holding me at gunpoint, and the being with the energy kept coming towards me. Finally he reached me, and appeared to be surprised that whatever he was trying to do with the energy didn't work.

At that moment, some more human-looking beings came hastily towards me. It was Loki, and behind him the Avengers. I guess they had teamed up. Loki told the Zoidberg Stormtroopers to put their guns down, and explained that Earth was invaded by aliens, and they transformed humans to look more like them, and they were the resistance. I guess the aliens transformed the rooms too, similar to how environment changes in Silent Hill.

I was taken to a small back room that looked more human. There were more casual-looking humans. I was welcomed, and I guess furious bonding followed. At a later point someone wanted to show me the roof. We took the large round elevator to the roof, where we could see the starry sky though the glass dome surrounding the elevator area. Suddenly, Zoidbergs appeared, and although the dome was reinforced, we had to go back down. Someone also got shot, but that appears to not be important to the story, as I have no idea what happened to him, or how the glass was penetrated. At least it wasn't a fatal wound.

Back down, it seems we began to watch films. And fall asleep. I must have fallen asleep myself, and upon opening my eyes, I appeared to have rested my head on deep blue jeans with some legs inside. I looked up and the leg owner was a girl whose face emitted warmth of emotional kind, and with a soft voice she said she likes the Weird Al, what was currently playing. I said that yes, I was familiar with him, but I wanted to hear an entire album form him, so I picked one from eBay.

Note that I was listening to Weird Al's Even Worse that night.

Whole Ten Yards, The (2004)
Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

And a few notes.

Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004) might be hard to find, since it is not really a separate film, it is only included on special editions of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). The film had so much extra footage that it was enough for an alternate film. However, it shares no scenes with the main film. If you do not like the main film, you will likely not like the alternate either.

Die Hard 4.0 is what the film is released as in many regions. When the film was released, many people complained that it is not a true Die Hard sequel. Then, when A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) came out, people said tha compared to this, Die Hard 4.0 was very good. I liked Die Hard 4.0 from the start, and there is a reason I did not include the fifth one.

It is ironic that the expert consulted for Ice Age for accuracy was willing to allow some factual errors that could theoretically be possible, as long as the film does not want to show dinosaurs in the ice age. And then there were dinosaurs in the third one. I did not include the fourth one, because while it's fun, it does not feel connected enough. The fifth Ice Age, which is coming this summer, goes outer space, meaning they are going even further away from the first one's attempt to be accurate.

The Lion King sequels are usually not spoken of. I also left them out, because while they were fun, they are not on the same level as the original.

The Bourne Legacy (2012) was not as good as previous films, also, ruined elements of the story, basically claiming that Jason Bourne is not highly intelligent and well trained, he takes steroids. Having not read the books, I know that Robert Ludlum only wrote the first three books, others were written by someone else, which could be the reason of changing of styles.

While I recommend to see all James Bond movies, I seem to enjoy the mentioned ones the most.
