I played a game that is true to real life, but also far from it. Sims 4 is probably a game with many glitches, which may be how I got my first female house mate.

I first started a game as a teen, but that was no fun, or maybe I didn't explore ways to make money. The second game, I started as a feminine walking guy with pink pants named Lenny Kravitz. When you first start the game, you have neighbours wanting to come over to welcome you. One of mine got invited to move in, because she got stuck behind my bed, and since I could not control her, I could not get her out. There was no way for me to see her stats, but from her complaining, it seemed she really needed to pee, to eat, and to sleep.

I either had or levelled up my charisma until I could ask her to move in with me. She was unemployed, so I guess it was beneficial to her as well. Later, when I already had three desktop computers, I had her write children's books as well, such as Monsters Don't Do Drugs, a tale of drug overdose and how to say no. Because of the computers, all three house occupants had programming and gaming skills, because I decided they would much rather game than watch TV for fun. My fourth also rather immediately learned gaming skills. They also all learned handiness, because things broke down frequently, even the computers. And we didn't want to hire the service, because the social one learned he was a clumsy kleptomaniac. Besides, my girlfriend only got electrocuted once.

My, or rather Lenny's, love for computers started off by accident, really. Lenny started as a freelance artist, but I could not figure out how to do his job. Then we got invited to a party, where there was a computer. He could chat with the client there, and then I bought him a computer, and a sketchpad. I would have bought the rest of the computer either way, probably, but all the sims that game over started to game and it was hard to get Lenny to do his job. So, there was this computer area with two desks facing each other, and a third against the wall, and much of the socialising got done when they were all sitting behind the computers.

I ended the game without saving because I fucked up, but also because it was no fun after some time. I saw that I could flirt with the girl I had met as a kid, which started because my social one needed to introduce herself to different people, so she randomly introduced herself to people on the street. I liked Louise's red her, and Summer frequently invited her over. I did not woohoo with Louise until we had broken up with my girl, and by that point, Lenny was getting so old he had to be seduced, because I could not do much as him, as he always had three sleep commands lined up, and also he could not cook anymore, because everything smelled. On the other hand, it made Louise very happy.

My flirting made my girlfriend sad, and she was already frequently gloomy, as she was so goth her name was Cassandra Goth. Eventually I probably made it up, but I could not woohoo with her, but later I discovered it may have been the violin I bought her that was blocking the path to our bed from my side. Before all that, however, she had worked herself up from 32 to 78 dollars per hour, and was promoted from a call centre receptionist to project manager. Lenny also programmed an exciting MMO from home.

This kind of gaming was my first, since it was 25 hours straight. Although I stated at 2am, it was after some sort of sleep. Yes, this kind of gaming is dangerous, and no, I don't mean that I am 36, and so old my heart can't take it. In case any of you, younglings, thought that. There are cases of younger people dying like that, one was even only 22 hours. But, I was well hydrated, in the form of green blueberry tea, and in addition to some chocolate, since my sims frequently made vegetarian dumplings for breakfast, luck, and dinner, I made myself some dumplings as well. Mine had meat in it though, and I am not sure whether the game only had this option, or they were all vegetarians. Maybe it was the former though, as they were making omlets and also some meat products.
Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-69080938347784200972016-06-19T13:00:00.000+03:002016-08-16T09:45:47.868+03:00Are you a good person? In August, I replied to a comment on 9gag, asking a girl how old she is, since she commented an "only 90s kids remember" post. She replied with no answer. Then I asked what if I liked her and wanted to know about a possibility of dating. I've been told people interpret me as coming on too strong or whatever, but although if you get to know me you'll discover that I'm a very emphatic person, I also am driven by logic, and I saw it as a perfectly logical possibility. She replied that then the more important question is, where in the globe she is living. I asked her, she didn't reply.

I googled her avatar, and found that picture on Facebook, and left a cheeky comment. Just "ha ha, delete this comment", to which she replied "nah". Then I asked her whether I can add her as a friend, to which she said that she won't mind. We started to talk, and pretty soon I said I looked through her avatars, and although she had various degrees of make up on her on most, I found her cute without it. Ironically, just yesterday, a girl told me that girls don't like when they are complimented too much, and I should do it only when needed. I actually don't even like to make meaningless compliments, but I think it's completely logical to note when I come across information I like about her. But I guess this is among the many reasons men say women are illogical.

She said that she was relieved, because I was not one of those guys who sees a girl without make up, and no longer finds them pretty. The way she said it, felt a little off, as if she was already sure she was becoming my girlfriend. When I reveal what came of it, you can say it was one of the signs that something was off, maybe not even the first. However, I ignored it, I didn't even think of it as something to ignore, because if you go around being scared and paranoid, and interpret everything as a sign of malice, you can't be in a relationship with anyone. And, I do mean "relationship" in a wider sense, because why do people think of some words, like the aforementioned, "couple", "love", and even liking a person as reserved to lover-type of relationship? If I say I like ice cream, no one thinks I mean that I want to make love to it.

I also mentioned she seemed intelligent, and it appeared that I needed to specify the difference between intelligence and knowledge. She used an example, which I later randomly found out was a description of Dungeons & Dragons skills using examples. I quote: "Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad.". The description, when taken in its entirety, does not have knowledge, I do not know the specifics of the game, and I am not going to blame the game for not including knowledge. However, I would argue that these examples are wrong, at least outside the game's concept. Knowing that tomato is a fruit is a fact, it is knowledge. Knowing not to put tomato into a fruit salad is actually wisdom, but it is also intelligence. I would argue that intelligence is coming to a conclusion before something happened, wisdom is coming to that conclusion after it happened.

After my explanation that intelligence is making connections between facts you know, she said we are actually talking about the same thing, which, I assumed meant that she knew the difference. If so, she clearly used an unfortunate example. She also said that although she liked that I took her opinions into account, and my explanations were charming at first, they became annoying due to her situation I later found out. She was playing a video game for money, and was losing, and her cousins kept rubbing it to her face, and this made her snap. Either way, when I asked whether she wanted to unfriend me, she said she didn't want to lose "such an insightful person".

Messages from her continued to be cute and intelligent, but became rarer and rarer. I also wished her happy new year on the date she had listed as her birthday. When she replied a few days after, she didn't react to that, probably didn't get it. As the reason of her less and less frequent replies she told me that her parents don't let her use the computer, or even access Internet through her phone. The lack of activity on her Facebook page seemed to comply with this, and at this point, you might say that many people in that region have multiple accounts. Yes, assuming that was the case, it was pretty impressive what she did for me: she told all her numerous friends, who had commented on her statuses and photos, to communicate with her on her other account.

She had her phone number listed on her profile, so I sent her a message for the new year, the actual new year. I later said that I made myself sad, as I sent her a message and she didn't reply. She said her roaming is not activated, and her parents would be suspicious if she suddenly activated it. If this was an excuse, she at least was prepared. I tried to subtly ask whether she got the message at all, and she replied with something that did not directly refer my wording, but didn't conflict it either. I sent her six messages in February, and seven in March, because at this point her replies on Facebook were a month apart.

I had proposed to make a Facebook group for the two of us, because maybe it was better for us to talk in there for some reason, and she said it was a good idea, because she could then subscribe to my threads or whatnot. At first, she didn't even understand what I meant my Facebook group, then, after a few weeks of silence she said she didn't find the group, although I had told her the group's name, and also added her, which meant she should have been able to find the group easily. Then, in the middle of January she posted there that she is sorry about her lack of reply, but her friend helped her to get a phone her parents could not monitor, and she should be free at the end of the month when her parents are out of town, and we could maybe even skype.

We talked like happy bunnies for a few hours, then she said that her parents are home, could we talk "tomorrow". Que Ronan Keating, and the next day I commented on her thread that I suspect that we would not skype and whatnot, because if her parents are so controlling and can monitor sites she visits, because obviously she must use the Internet for her school, it would be conceivable that they can switch off the Internet connection. Also, me commenting this way was helped by being a tad annoyed that she was so loyal to her parents' wishes that she could not try to talk with me from her friends' computer, or even an Internet café. Which she actually did at one time, because she had decided that she is old enough to decide for herself, but then apparently thought that neh, it's not for her.

In the middle of February, referring to skyping and whatnot, she just said "sorry about that". So even her excuses had become lazy? I didn't say anything, but I was quite displeased with such a laconic excuse. We talked some more, and she said she would not want to watch Paranormal Activities with me, as she dislikes the films. Sure, they are inane films, but her reason was more puzzling. She said that when the first film came out, she though it was real, and when they made another ending, she realised it was fake.

I have seen the original ending, but I don't know what the end credits said about the film. In the more known ending, however, the first screen in the end credits says that the film was fiction. Quite a contradiction when during the whole film you tried to make us believe it was real found footage. Anyway, took me two hours to wrap my mind around how she could believe it was real. Then I remembered she was 13 when the movie came out, and that she was religious at that time as well.

By the way, around that time, I was at the usual drinking binge at my friend's place, and the three others got the idea to call out spirits. I refused, and went to the other room to sleep. They mocked me for being afraid. Fuck that, no, I didn't think Paranormal Activity type of shit would happen, or even Djinn from Long Time Dead, which is a much better evil spirit film than Paranormal Activity, but some things are just too disrespectful to do.

At the end of February, I asked her whether I can ask her a question pretending she wants to be with me, and she said "alright". I asked whether she still would live with me if she knew I had very little money. She saw that question at the end of March, I was lucky enough to glimpse at my other monitor and see the sequence of events where my message was marked as seen, and very shortly after, "you can't reply to this conversation", meaning she blocked me.

In a way, I got my answer. But then I logged on to my other account and said it's rude to block, also, I wrote to some of her friends that had commented on some things of her. I also made one more account to send her a message, but this time, I commented on her status, pasting a letter I wrote to her. She blocked that account too, and I made another to see what she did. She had said to a friend of hers that this person is annoying, does not take the hint, and made alternate accounts, and "how's that for a stalker?".

Oh yeah, one of friends told me that she blocked me because I'm a stalker. Yes, attempting to talk to her from alternate accounts is stalker behaviour, but that didn't exist before her first block. It would have been like manipulating herself a reason. She blocked me, and when I tried to ask why, which would be the first thing resembling a stalker, state that the reason she blocked me was that I'm a stalker. Also, she naturally wanted to make herself seem like the "winner" in this situation, as she deleted my letter where I mentioned how she acted. There wasn't any further point to keep trying to make her friend see how she herself was evil. Although you could argue that I shouldn't have tried to contact her after the first block.

Some days later her friend randomly came to me and said: "So now she decided to stop the communication between the two of you...", to which I naturally responded with: "Now? I had a chance before?", because it seemed such an irrational thing to say. The friend also said she had a boyfriend. Whether it was attained during the time we talked, or from the beginning, I do not know. Except that if she had a boyfriend the whole time, she was cheating on him. It does not matter what I thought or perceived it as, or that she most probably thought of it as trolling, which is how hip people tell themselves they are not lying, she was betraying the idea of loyalty. The fact that she knew she was not serious or genuine does not matter, flirting is flirting.

And, if her parents being strict was true at all, and if in case of boyfriend she was not allowed to talk to her boyfriend while living with parents, it may also be hypothesised that she was using me as entertainment during her slave period, but when the school ended and she went to live with her sister, where she could be free, she did not have a use for me. Although, to further exemplify why I thought she was flirting with me, or at least enthusiastic about me, she said that when school ends, she will go live with her sister, where she could "talk to me the whole summer".

Boyfriend aside, as soon as the reason was stated as stalking, I tried to figure out what it was. The phone messages? Nah, I sent her the same amount of messages in February and March, and she had time to tell me to not send her messages at the end of February, but she did not say anything. Could it be that the stalking was how I first found her? What the intercourse? It wasn't as if I hacked some password guarded database, I used the information she herself had made public. Many people use Google image search, in fact, a girl from 9gag used the exact method to find me. The difference is then that I knowingly use the same avatar for 9gag, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, and I know that I could be found this way, but many people, like the girl this post is about, don't seem to realise that any information you choose to put on the Internet can be read and found out.

The title of this post is actually what the girl's friend, to whom I am thankful for giving me the reason, asked me after she was told to stay away because I am a stalker. After hearing my said, she says she understands me and my hurt, and I hope she now can ask her whether she is a good person.

Charlotte: So.. first time in history. Love it myself.
Charlotte: So what is your real name Barbara?
Jane: Legally Boris for now
Jane: But not for long
Charlotte: Haha...
Charlotte: Oh dear, not easy this is, and try not to be too pushy..
Alex: I would imagine tips are better for Barbara than Boris
Barbara: Maybe in a year or two, lol
Barbara: Got my scripts for hormones today
Charlotte: You better start taking them.. Like I thought you would have already for x years ago.. So Im totally confused.. But I dont worry. Them are yours ..
Charlotte: Still no real name for Barbara. Wow. I thought I was in a GUILD where we dont have that kind of secrets from eachother. Thats weird for me. Anyway, and besides that, I might leave you anyway cause.. nja.. you are too good.. And I want to feel that Im good with the time I do spend with CA, but I cant compare with soo many of you.
Charlotte: I will think about it for a few days.
Charlotte: Its a damn great Guild.. Thats for sure.
Jane: She just came out a couple weeks ago to the world
Jane: Started with the new name maybe 5 days ago
Barbara: You were given my legal name twice
Jane: Her process sucks as name changes and everything become rather complicated
Jane: Hell, name change on getting married confuses folks as it is
Charlotte: lol
Big Bad Wolf: But your comment on "history" becoming "herstory", I hope it was a joke
Barbara: What do you mean, Big Bad Wolf?
Big Bad Wolf: Jane said it earlier
Barbara: Because Jane was talking about me living my life
Big Bad Wolf: No
Barbara: Her. Story. Mine. My story is my life
Big Bad Wolf: You do not get it
Barbara: Apparently you don't get it
Big Bad Wolf: Yes
Big Bad Wolf: I hate transgender, gays, and blacks
Charlotte: You do, honestly?
Barbara: Thats nice
Big Bad Wolf: Maybe you're too young
Big Bad Wolf: In the 90s, feminists made a fuzz about why the word is "history", not "herstory"
Barbara: I
Charlotte: and sorry Barbara, didnt catch your name earlier.. even if you told me twice ..
Barbara: Don't
Barbara: Care
Big Bad Wolf: Good
Big Bad Wolf: You're becoming touchy
Charlotte: In the 90s??
Barbara: However I have taken a screenshot of your words
Big Bad Wolf: I was sarcastic, I have nothing against transgender
Stevie: I loled because exactly that came to my mind - without knowing there was a real fuzz about it
Charlotte: Noo, thats happening now in the 20th years.. Her her her everywhere. gezz
Big Bad Wolf: But, "herstory" was about the word, not your life
Big Bad Wolf: You can enjoy the screenshot all you like, Barbara
Charlotte: Im too old for that shit..
Andy: Whoa, what did I crash chat in2?
Stevie: Barbara is one adoreable cat
Big Bad Wolf: "History" is just a word in the end. If feminists believe it represses women, and advocates belief that women are not as important as men, that is their problem
Charlotte: Hi Andy, welcome in to transworld... her, him hen..? Hestory
Charlotte: Big Bad Wolf, love that word "herstory" gonna keep that one to my vocabs
Charlotte: ty
Big Bad Wolf: Barbara making a screenshot of my words believing I have anything against her is like a black man quitting my guild after I made an anti-racist joke, in which, he only saw the word "black" in, and automatically thought it was racist ("What do you call a black man in the cockpit of the plane? A pilot, you racist")
Charlotte: Why push it, Big Bad Wolf..
Big Bad Wolf: Because, Barbara overreacted. She blocked me on facebook. All because she thought "herstory" is a word invented to describe her life
Charlotte: Oh no! Thats overreact. Sorry for that.
Big Bad Wolf: It's a silly feminist word, nothing more
Big Bad Wolf: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herstory
Charlotte: It never ends in good way when ppl block eachother.. Trust me. For me it ended with I lost one of my best friends.. thought she was.. but her friend blocked me and..so on so on... sad.
Charlotte: So I only want to say.. Dont block before you talk it out
Stevie: Well, Big Bad Wolf might be a smart ass sometimes, but the irony meter on this one rocketed throught the roof
Big Bad Wolf: When all is said and done, it's Barbara who is wasting energy hating me. My conscious is clean, because how was I supposed to know my comment on Jane's use of a feminist term will offend Barbara?
Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-49273398082002804252016-06-14T11:37:00.000+03:002016-06-14T11:53:03.216+03:00What's the colour of love?I was watching Everything Wrong With The Ring on Youtube, and saw some girl comment that this film scared her as a child. I opened replies, and in one of her replies she said that if anyone likes films, they can add her on Facebook, and she gave a link. So I added her, because she told me to.

So, as first thing, I linked her my review of Lucy. She liked it, and I said I was planning to write a review about a Nicolas Cage film. She said she wanted to read that, although she guessed the film wrong. She also invited me to like her game streaming page, which I did. Then she posted a new photo of her, I commented that she looked surprisingly beautiful, to which she thanked me for graciously eloquent comment. I replied with another compliment, and she replied to my reply that all joking aside, she liked talking to me, and we should think up a question, and have a long debate.

First off, what joking? She can't take a compliment? Was she so panicked about putting me in that friend zone, although I didn't indicate in any way that I want to have her? Second off, who talks like that? In my reply to her I tried to open up her mind, but thinking about it now, I guess she wasn't mentally independent. I don't know what she studied, but it reminded me of that first year philosophy student who said she likes philosophy, and when I asked her some existential question, she told me that this wasn't philosophy, which most likely indicated that she thought philosophy must strictly be within the pattern of what authorities have written. And no, it wasn't "What's the colour of love?". Or, "What's the key to my heartbeat?".

Anyway, to my reply that interesting topics can naturally come up during conversations, she didn't react. Instead, she replied me in another comment, where a girl asked her for lunch, if she still lived in the area. She said she had moved, but she can call her, because the girl had her "numb.". Because leaving two letters out of "number" is such an abbreviation. Knowing me, and I guess she didn't, I saw an opportunity for an "I am..." comment. "I am numb", because how could I not? She asked if I want to come too. This was not the intent of my comment, but I said that she is too far, otherwise I would not mind.

Since I was a member of her gaming page, I posted a gameplay of mine from Youtube. Then I posted some more, as a comment, so to not spam. The last two weren't even gameplays, just my uploads. She commented with "HAHAHA. Love it.". I asked which one, and a week later when she blocked me, I went back and added that the reply seemed bot-like, as she had replied as if I posted only one video, and her reply didn't fit what I actually said. Now she has blocked me from the page too, I guess it at least means she read it. Or, maybe not. I did reply to some of her new posts, like in one, she commented to someone that he deleted her from the friends list, where I said she deleted me as well.

One more thing that makes me wonder about the mental independence. As I had just revisited my favourite films list, I gave her a link to that too. She said it was a good list, but she would have put in this and that. For example, The Green Mile is a good film, and there is no reason one should not like it, but the list she gave did look like she may have included some films only because authorities regard them as must see films. Then again, she did include Predator and Pitch Black, which aren't critically praised.

About a week before she blocked me I asked why were her replies to me so short, she said she is so busy at work, which is understandable. But then she said she would be off work for a week, and able to talk more. However, she only talked to be once, we exchanged some paragraphs, and then she didn't reply. It's not like she's not allowed to not reply, a thousand things may have come up. The message was seen, but still, maybe she saw, and something came up. However, she also saw and did not reply to me when I sent a message a day later, then, a day from that, and then Facebook told me she was not receiving messages from me, and then when I asked about this in a comment, she liked the comment, and then blocked me. She could have said things. And, she was posting in Facebook, and replying to people's comments while ignoring me.

But no, she didn't say anything. And, a couple of more female people have blocked me over talking too much. Well, I am not sorry that my way of talking is not exchanging simple one-liners with no thought behind them.

Oh, and I don't know if this had any impact, but I told her I had a dream about her. Actually, not much about her, she was just in it. I wrote the dream down, because why not, and after giving her a link she said she didn't see the part about her. But if she had read it, she would know there were two girls I mentioned and one might have fit her, as it involved watching films. I am not sorry that my dream about her wasn't "So, we met at a club, you were wearing sexy clothes, I took you home and humped you without any foreplay. Then I told you to go to the kitchen, and make me sandwiches. What a wonderful dream!".

By the way, she tweeted some video of a guy's tips how to be romantic, saying that "Just goes to show anyone knows how to be romantic and loving, of all guys, this guy knows... This guy...". First of all, I have to mention, although she has lived in Britain from the age of seven, something about her wording seemed a bit off. But, as far as I could tell, she was impressed. Being The Big Bad Wolf, I replied to her tweet: "Did you write this status because you have only met guys with low intelligence and lack of empathy?".

And, furthermore, while watching this video, two things. One, why are girls so materialistic, and two, aren't you supposed to show your love with little tenderness every day, instead of having just a few days in a year to do those cliché tricks? Seriously, it's like most guys think it's mandatory to be an insensitive sexist jerk to their girlfriends or wives whenever it's not Valentine’s Day, anniversary, birthday, or Christmas. And girls just accept this because "Whaddaya gonna do?". Sorry if I misspelled the grammar of the uneducated or hip.

Also, the guy in the video may have been doing this in order to appeal to the viewers more, but if so, it's sad that people consider male tenderness so taboo, it's necessary to jokingly insert manly things. Three times during filming his girlfriend's reactions, he jokingly went: "It’s a prank!", and then continued with his gestures.

There was a girl and her mum sitting with us. I was not finished yet, when my mum remembered she had left something in her room.

She left, and since the girl sitting with us was reasonably attractive, I felt a little ashamed about the way I was eating. The food I was eating appeared to share some characteristics with soup, because I was finishing it like I finish my soups: when there was only a little liquid left at the bowl, I drink it over the edge, and help any solidish pieces with my spoon. Although Asian regions drink their soup, so I don’t know why I should be ashamed about how I eat my soup. I could take the bowl with both hands, drink it from the start, and say I am eating soup like the Asians do.

A wild waiter appeared, asking if I wanted anything else, I said no. The bill came to 97 money units, and it appeared mum left me on purpose, because she wanted me to pay for what she ordered. But then mum came back, and I left paying to her, because in no way was my meal that expensive. As she was paying, I asked why is the food so expensive here, the waiter looked up, and I realised I picked the wrong moment to ask this.

My mum wanted me to meet some worker there, but despite going around in the glass windowed corridor, she could not find her, and I decided to leave. I wanted to take the closest stairs, since I remembered from a previous dream that the compartments were connected. But since it was a dorm-like section, and there were some weird kids fighting, I decided to take the lift. It seemed a little strange to me that the next section was shielded off with a grilled door, but it wasn't locked, so I slid it open, and reclosed it behind me. It appeared it was locked, but it was like a childproof lock, so I just put it back on the little hook that was supposed to make it harder to open.

The lifts were also shielded off, with draped room separators, like you would see in a hospital. But the lifts were working, there was a nurse waiting for one of them. I slid behind the curtains, and took the lift. Inside, I accidentally pushed the switch in the middle, but then I quickly pushed the right button, and turned the switch off. I don’t know what it did.

When I arrived on my floor, the lift opened up to a white room that resembled what we usually perceive as space ship style. The next room appeared to be upside down, but it might have been the distortion of the glass window on the door. The upside down figure did not look like a human, it looked like Zoidberg after shedding his worn out shell. The door opened, and behind it was a larger room with similar design, but more darker, metallic colours.

I was greeted with two spaced apart rows on Zoidberg-like creatures pointing guns at me dressed in white, and from the far end of the room, a being with a blue uniform came towards me with visible energy between his hands. I repeatedly asked the guns to be put down, but they were still holding me at gunpoint, and the being with the energy kept coming towards me. Finally he reached me, and appeared to be surprised that whatever he was trying to do with the energy didn't work.

At that moment, some more human-looking beings came hastily towards me. It was Loki, and behind him the Avengers. I guess they had teamed up. Loki told the Zoidberg Stormtroopers to put their guns down, and explained that Earth was invaded by aliens, and they transformed humans to look more like them, and they were the resistance. I guess the aliens transformed the rooms too, similar to how environment changes in Silent Hill.

I was taken to a small back room that looked more human. There were more casual-looking humans. I was welcomed, and I guess furious bonding followed. At a later point someone wanted to show me the roof. We took the large round elevator to the roof, where we could see the starry sky though the glass dome surrounding the elevator area. Suddenly, Zoidbergs appeared, and although the dome was reinforced, we had to go back down. Someone also got shot, but that appears to not be important to the story, as I have no idea what happened to him, or how the glass was penetrated. At least it wasn't a fatal wound.

Back down, it seems we began to watch films. And fall asleep. I must have fallen asleep myself, and upon opening my eyes, I appeared to have rested my head on deep blue jeans with some legs inside. I looked up and the leg owner was a girl whose face emitted warmth of emotional kind, and with a soft voice she said she likes the Weird Al, what was currently playing. I said that yes, I was familiar with him, but I wanted to hear an entire album form him, so I picked one from eBay.

Note that I was listening to Weird Al's Even Worse that night.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-63451722226710899222016-05-14T06:44:00.002+03:002016-05-23T06:35:29.244+03:00Favourite films revisitedI was asked about my favourite films, and I decided it is time to revisit the list of my favourites. There are some additions, but only a few are newer than 2011, the original publish date. There are some films cut, but not because I don't like them any more, I just don't think I would like to rewatch them so often.
Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

And a few notes.

Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004) might be hard to find, since it is not really a separate film, it is only included on special editions of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). The film had so much extra footage that it was enough for an alternate film. However, it shares no scenes with the main film. If you do not like the main film, you will likely not like the alternate either.

Die Hard 4.0 is what the film is released as in many regions. When the film was released, many people complained that it is not a true Die Hard sequel. Then, when A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) came out, people said tha compared to this, Die Hard 4.0 was very good. I liked Die Hard 4.0 from the start, and there is a reason I did not include the fifth one.

It is ironic that the expert consulted for Ice Age for accuracy was willing to allow some factual errors that could theoretically be possible, as long as the film does not want to show dinosaurs in the ice age. And then there were dinosaurs in the third one. I did not include the fourth one, because while it's fun, it does not feel connected enough. The fifth Ice Age, which is coming this summer, goes outer space, meaning they are going even further away from the first one's attempt to be accurate.

The Lion King sequels are usually not spoken of. I also left them out, because while they were fun, they are not on the same level as the original.

The Bourne Legacy (2012) was not as good as previous films, also, ruined elements of the story, basically claiming that Jason Bourne is not highly intelligent and well trained, he takes steroids. Having not read the books, I know that Robert Ludlum only wrote the first three books, others were written by someone else, which could be the reason of changing of styles.

While I recommend to see all James Bond movies, I seem to enjoy the mentioned ones the most.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-77631179367635140252015-08-21T09:24:00.000+03:002015-08-21T09:33:01.339+03:00I can't help falling in love with youPeople who do not believe in falling love over the Internet act like this is something new. Yes, the medium is new, but falling love over writings is likely as old as writing itself.

People exchanged love letters way before the Internet, even before motorised vehicles, which meant waiting for a reply for weeks. And then there is also falling in love with a book character, whom the reader should know is not even real.

The rejection of the idea to fall in love over the Internet can also be caused by there being so many people with malicious intent. This phenomenon was, by logic, not so spread in before time, but, although I have not researched this, it's only logical that there were letters written to woo a rich person to marry them to gain a higher financial status.

Love letters in paper form are not dead. There are incidents today where a person falls in love with someone writing from prison, and in case of marriage, the inmate gets an early release from prison, only to resort to life of crime once again. And then their spouse realises it was the intention all along.

I have experienced malicious persons who, when they confess, tell me that I am stupid for believing, it is my fault. No, it is not. A person who gets robbed is not to blame, unless the break in was direct fault of carelessness by the owner.

Is falling in love over the Internet really that different from falling in love in real life? You will not get to touch one another, see their body language, feel the closeness, go out on dates. Sure, for some, sex is the only thing in a relationship, there is absolutely no interest in partner's feelings and thoughts. Some marriages are like that, regardless on having fallen in love in real life.

There are people only looking to get laid in real life, too. Falling in love, however, includes getting to know another person, offering support, sharing joy. Often times it could even be more effective, as you don't feel the pressure of having to be engaged in some activity.

It is possible to know a person more from a week chatting on the Internet than going out with them for six months. Six months seem too far stretched, but, how deep do you get to know a person when you go for dates in the cinema and at the amusement parks?

Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-77471979577224196372012-07-19T16:10:00.001+03:002013-07-21T19:42:00.520+03:00Most Wanted

The very first games in the series had no career, and all cars were available at the start. In this game, very few cars are unlocked from the start, so it is advisable to start a career right away. I am going to give you what I think are the basics on career step by step, but I also recommend you to read this post all the way through, as the pointers I give out about higher levels may be useful for you to know during your entire progressing.

The first thing you need to know about career is that you need autosave for the climax, as there is no option to save after beating Razor, but before then I advise you to turn autosave off. And of course, don't forget to save manually. First of all, when you get busted, you can always take a clean save, plus you don't have to drool for get out of jail markers. Second of all, you can keep racing blacklist members until you get their car. It is advisable to have plenty of cars, so you can switch when heat gets too high.

After first teaser races with a fast car, you are driven to a car lot, where you have a choice of four cars. Oh, about Golf. It costs 35,000 and you don't have that in the beginning. Or do you? The trick is, you have to have an Underground 2 save, and then the Most Wanted game gives you bonus money as a thank you. So you could either buy a stock Golf, or tune out a cheaper car. Stock Golf will do just fine. With any luck, or patience, you will be driving a pink slip soon anyway.

As for pink slips, my experience with different careers is that it most likely is a constant pattern form left to right, starting at random. If it started with second, it was 2-3-1-2-3 and so on, until Mitsubishi, from there it got more random. Personally, I aim to get a pink slip and a performance upgrade, because you can always get more money by re-racing won races. Also, it is not much, but you can sell your car's visual upgrades, the price of the car is not affected.

Blacklist #15, Sonny, drives a Volkswagen Golf GTI. This is why I advised keeping your Golf stock. Selling a car will only give you half of that car's price, performance upgrades do not add to the price, there are no performance parts unlocked after beating Sonny, and the races are easy to win with a stock Golf. You probably won't come back to those races after you have beaten that level. The races are only 1,500 money units, and not interesting to drive. You have to complete 3 milestones, they can all be achieved in one pursuit. There is also a speed ticket milestone, beatable with a stock Golf.

If you like achievements, you are recommended to endure the slow cops, and get the 30 minute pursuit in this, or the next two levels. The map is limited to Rosewood, and you have to wait, if I remember correctly, 6 minutes before you reach level 2 heat, and even then you have to be careful as to not lose the cops, but at heat level 3 and up, the cops are more aggressive, and you can easily slip up. Oh, and resetting your car in the midst of a pursuit gets you busted instantly. If you flip over, wait until the game resets you, as somehow this reset will not get you busted as fast, and you have time to get your speed up.

Blacklist #14, Taz, drives a Lexus IS300. At this level, you have six races to choose from, only four is needed. Races are 2,000 money units, so not appealing to come back to, if you need money. Still, I would like to mention two:

Heritage Heights is a nice relaxing circuit. By the way, from now on, when I mention a race, I mean minimum cop probability, unless said otherwise.

Skywiew & Campus, a tollbooth along the roundabout, great for testing your cars in the key of "faster than a sixth grader".

Blacklist #13, Vic, rides a Toyota Supra. Hopefully you have had the luck, or patience, to win both previous pink slips. You'll want to win Supra, too, because you might want to use Supra for races until you get Porsche. But do not sell your other cars, you'll use them in pursuits if Supra's heat gets too much. After this level, Camden Beach is unlocked. Cash reward is 2,500 money units, and there are two notable tracks:

Highway 99 & Highlands, a tollbooth on the roundabout.

Highway 4 & Forest Green, a nice tollbooth. Mostly on roundabout, a cut through town, but on relatively quick roads.

This level is the last one with heat level 2 being the highest. If you haven't done the 30 minute pursuit, do it now! Also, the developers' idea of looking pretty may not match yours. You can make your Supra look cooler without removing the unique vinyl:

Blacklist #12, Izzy, drives a Mazda RX-8. In this level, you'll get heat 3 chases, so, if you have not done the 30 minute pursuit, it is a bit harder now, since heat 3 has Pontiac GTOs that travel in packs of three and are trying to box you in, and light rhinos. Light rhinos are SUVs, identifiable by having no black bumper horns across their front grill, not that you have time to investigate during a chase. Destroying a Pontiac GTO will get you 2,500 bounty, but a light rhino will get you 10,000. Rhinos are used in road blocks, and they also try to disable you by initiating a full speed, head on collision with you. As you've guessed, the SUVs are unable to make fast changes in direction. This level also introduces drags, and a drag is just what I would highlight from this level:

Bayshore & Broadwalk. Drags are worth less money, in this case, 750 units, but this drag, despite having some turns, has barely any traffic. And you only have to change lanes, if needed, taking a curve is automatic, and since speeds are high, a turn is confusing and funny.

Since you need 10,000,000 bounty to race Razor, you better get started now, as opposed to struggling with high heat cops to barely make the bounty required, as I did with my first save. Next four levels are great for building bounty, as you get decent amount for destroying units, and pursuits longer than six minutes won't bring you level 4 or 5 cops. If you aim to destroy cars in roadblocks, try to ram the rear end, as the front end is heavier. Hitting nitro before ramming the roadblock helps; nitro can also help you get out of cops' attempt to box you in. In these four levels, I took my time and got around 6,000,000 bounty, so I was safe until Ronnie (number three). But in last three levels, milestones are ridiculous, so you will earn the remaining four million in the process.

Blacklist #11, Lou, rides in a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Eclipse handles just as good as Supra, so don't upgrade your Eclipse, upgrade Supra. No noteworthy details.

Blacklist #10, Baron, shows off a Porsche Cayman S. Oh, you'll want his car. You'll have to upgrade it every now and then, but you will probably use it until you get your fingers on a Lamborghini. No other noteworthy details about this level, apart from... Look, how pretty it looks after I removed the custom hood and the big spoiler:

Blacklist #9, Earl, drives a Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION VIII. Great car for pursuits, but for races, I prefer Porsche. If you didn't do your 30 minute pursuit achievement before getting heat 3, and are too lazy to start a new career, do the pursuit now, next level brings heat 4. You will also unlock Downtown Rockport. One track from this level worth highlighting:

Seaside & Camden, a nice, almost straight drag. Light traffic.

Blacklist #8, Jade, rolls in a Ford Mustang GT. Races here are 8,000 money units, and are fun. Unfortunately, two of them are the blacklist races, meaning once you progress past those, you can't come back to them in career. On the plus side, you may have to do them over and over again to win her car.

This level unlocks Downtown Rockport, and heat level 4. According to NFS wiki, the heat 4 cruisers are also Pontiac GTOs, but on this heat level, they are black. Also, there can be a whole swarm of them ramming you and trying to box you in. In addition, heat level 4 brings heavy rhinos, helicopters, and spike strips.

Due to programming which may or may not have been planned, police radio informs you about a spike strip or a road block very often only after you have passed it. Thus, pay attention to your map, and if you see something resembling a block, slow down a bit, and if you see the block, be on alert for holes in the block, as they may contain spikes. There is a possibility to evade when your tires are shot, but you have to either be very close to a pursuit breaker, or manage to drive to one. I have succeeded in doing this, but only once, and in Undercover. In most cases, however, if you drive through spikes, you're done.

Heavy rhinos have these black bumper horns across their front grill I mentioned earlier, and also five spike rims. Heavy rhinos do everything light rhinos do, except they stick around to help in boxing in. On heat 4, only one of them will appear at a time, but on heat 5, there will be two. Heavy rhinos give you 15,000 bounty, black GTOs give you 5,000.

Helicopters are not much of a threat, but they can annoy you. If there are no ground units in sight, a helicopter still sees you, even in some hiding spots, as not all on them are under a roof. Or, you have to be in plain sight for possible ground units, since you can't drive out of a tunnel to a hiding spot. Additionally, the game has a bug in that when you are in a hiding spot before cooldown starts, hiding spot does not work. So you have to drive out of the hiding spot and back in for it to work, thus risking exposure.

Highlight-worthy tracks of this level include:

Highway 201, knockout. Relatively easy, with a few tricky parts. At 8,000 money units, worth farming.

Cascade, another knockout. Some 90 degree turns make it interesting.

Waterfront & Highway 99, a tollbooth. Half the track is along the roundabout, it stats in the beach borough, and takes you through the town.

Camden & Ironwood, a sprint. Easy to beat, and beautiful to drive, available only this level as a blacklist race.

Union & Rockridge, a drag. Once you have learned the traffic sequence, wonderful to drive. Available only this level as a blacklist race.

Blacklist #7, Kaze, scorches around with a Mercedes-Benz CLK 500. Races on this level award 10,000 money units, and are fun to drive. It should also be noted that after winning your fourth race, your heat is dropped, so to take advantage of it, you may get your heat maxed out before the fourth race. No specific races needed, any of them will do.

Out of the ten races, five get highlighted:

Interchange & Bond, a sprint with maximum cop probability. It's got two sharp turns at the end, however, first half is on the roundabout. There is a more highly rewarded version of this track later on, with no cops, and in reverse.

Highway 201 & Highway 99, a tollbooth that spans both roundabouts.

Beach & Skywiew, a tollbooth with maximum cop probability. Features all three boroughs, but very briefly compared to a few endurance runs on final level.

Union Row & Ocean, a sprint. This one also features all three boroughs. It starts on the roundabout, takes you through the downtown, and ends on a bridge to the peninsula.

Ocean & Harbour, an entertaining drag. Not to spoil the fun, you'll have to learn this track.

Blacklist #6, Ming, burns rubber with a Lamborghini Gallardo. Unless you are purposely avoiding pink slips, and want to go through the game with your first car, which is totally possible, you must get his car. This car requires minimal tuning work, as it is tuned to the max as it is. Its top speed and acceleration are almost full, and handling is full. It has four locked parts you can otherwise get only after beating number three, Ronnie. The only thing you might want to replace is its nitro. But until you get to the blacklist race, or if you decide to re-race something for 12,000 money units, here are two highlights:

Interchange & Tunnel, a tollbooth with maximum cop probability. Covers all three boroughs, and while not insanely difficult, is not an easy ride either.

Riverside & Terrace, a drag with a twist.

The Gallardo is fast, but not huge pain to beat. For those parts that otherwise get unlocked after you beat number three, so, in essence, that you have only in the last two levels, and will give you an edge in three levels, it is totally worthy to drive the Gallardo blacklist races over and over again. Gallardo handles like a dream, thus is useful in pursuits also. Although the original unique vinyl wasn't bad, for some reason I did not like it, and went all chrome:

Blacklist #5, Webster, drives a Chevrolet Corvette C6. Beat him, and you can reach heat level 5, that means Corvettes everywhere.

I recently tried to repaint some of my silver cars, but while I did that, I also managed to create one more. The pink slip Corvette looked a bit unattractive, but I hesitated on losing the original vinyl. Playing around, I discovered it was not a black background vinyl. I found a matching colour, and ended up with dark silver car:

Blacklist #4, JV, cruises around in a Dodge Viper SRT10. This level brigs level 5 cops, so your pursuit becomes really hard. With my driving skills, I get busted most of the times. Heat 5 is everything heat 4 was, but with Corvettes. Well, obviously, heavy rhinos and helicopters can't be Corvettes, but since they replace Pontiacs, and are charged with nitrous, it will be bad news. They move quicker, including faster manoeuvring, and are much harder to destroy. If you do manage to destroy one, it adds 20,000 to your bounty, so at least that's good. Also, helicopters get more aggressive, and can try to bump you off the road or towards the spikes.

According to NFS wiki, it is possible to get Sergeant Cross himself at heat 5, but I haven't noticed him. It is also rumoured Cross will never bust you himself, and will just stand there yelling at you, but I have no desire to manipulate that situation. I seem to remember reading about someone having destroyed a helicopter, and getting huge bounty for it, but I may have dreamed it. Oh, and a funny thing about milestones, and how the game trolls you. During a pursuit, if the game tells you you have completed a milestone, make sure that it was for your current level, as you may have achieved a previous level milestone. Seems like a harmless detail, but it can irritate you when you have ended the pursuit due to seeing the message, only to discover this was not helpful within your current level.

Seems so far I have not highlighted a speedtrap. One of the things that makes Most Wanted unique are the drags, which take those disorienting drags from Underground 2, and turn them so over the top they are entertaining, but drags are still present in other titles. What are only featured in Most Wanted though, are speedtraps. They are quite annoying, as while finishing first is not required, you have to have the highest speed in a certain point of the map, and with each second you finish later than the first guy, you lose your total speed. Anyway, in this level I highlight one of the two speedtraps I mention:

Green & Fairmount, a speedtrap then. Quite tricky, as just relying on hitting nitro will not be enough. There are a few nasty turns as well.

Rosewood & Heritage, a drag. Available as a blacklist race only, but Ronnie's level features a track with similar traffic related dilemma, so you can get the similar feel without leaving career mode.

Blacklist #3, Ronnie, scrabbles the streets with an Aston Martin DB9. This is the last level you have to endure with some parts still locked, so Gallardo really pays off. You do have Murciélago and Ford GT unlocked, but they can only be updated with still locked ultimate engine and ultimate turbo, so your performance with those cars is not what it could be. In addition to the requirement races, you need very good handling and acceleration for the blacklist races. Highlights:

Bond & Forest Green, a sprint. It's a very nice track, with two sharp turns at the beginning, but the second half is on the roundabout. My favourite track, and the reverse of Interchange & Bond track I mentioned earlier. For its length, this 18,000 cash track is more beneficial than the 20,000 cash circuits I feature later.

Riverside, a knockout. Having some very nasty turns, the only reason I features this track is The Rockport Tunnel. Actually, I featured this track twice, as the next level has it reverse. Extremely tense track to drive.

Broadwalk & Bayshore, a drag. Unfortunately, not as exciting as Ocean & Harbour or the Dodge blacklist drag, but it features the reason I highlighted the latter.

Blacklist #2, Bull, taunts you with Mercedes-Bens SLR McLaren. It's a great car, but the blacklist races have really tight turns, and his car is totally tuned out. By reaching this level, you have unlocked the last cars and parts, so you may want Murciélago or Carrera GT. I don't really recommend Ford GT, as like many American cars, it tends to spin like a ballerina on accelerants.

After winning your fourth race, your heat will get to level 5, just like a few levels back it got dropped. You might want to have a second fast car in handy. One option is to do for races with Ming's Callardo, then go do some milestones, and buy the GT. This level's highlights include:

Campus Interchange and Country Club, both circuits. They have exactly the same route, but with reverse directions. Country Club starts with a curve leading through the quiet part of the town, and has the rest of the track on the roundabout, Campus Interchange ends with the same stroll through the town. With three laps, these 20,000 cash circuits may not be as time efficient as Bond & Forest Green a level earlier.

Lennox & Camden, a speedtrap with maximum cop probability. If you don't mind a pursuit after the race, you'll enjoy this, as it is mostly on the downtown roundabout, and ends on a bridge.

Valley & Highway 201 a knockout that takes you briefly through the downtown, and also features the roundabout.

East Park, a circuit that mixes sharp turns with a wide road.

Petersburg Crossing, the knockout I hinted a level earlier. Including The Rockport Tunnel, it is the reverse of the track from earlier. You'd think having the roundabout bit at the end would make this track easier than its counterpart.

Despite indicating a lower top speed than Murciélago, Carrera GT had the best acceleration, so by this level, I used Carrera GT for the races. Mercedes-Bens SLR McLaren's acceleration is equal to Carrera GT, but Porsche's handling and top speed are better.

Blacklist #1, Razor, trolls around with a BMW M3 GTR. The milestones in here are crazy. Getting the three speed tickets is easy with a fast acceleration, but from the seven available milestones, you need five. Evading pursuit in less than two minutes is also a piece of cake, but getting the fifth can prove quite a pickle. You have a choice of lasting a pursuit for 13 minutes, tagging 35 police cars, or getting 850,000 bounty.

This is where I gave up with my first save. I aimed for bounty, and following the advice of many people, I tried to just wait for the bounty to accumulate sitting on top of the busses at the bus station. It worked fine, but only heat 1 cops can't figure out how to drive up there. Maybe heat 2 cops also can't, seems logical, but heat 4 cops sure can. However, I accidentally achieved the bounty when I was aiming for tagging milestone.

It can be very useful to only aim for one milestone at a time. In lower levels, I got busted many times when I could have got away with one achievement but thought: Hey, I have only so little to go to get that other milestone! In this level I had only one more achievement required anyway, so I set my mind to tagging. Both tagging 35 cop cars, and dealing with heat 5 cops, are a lot harder than you'd think. Since I thought tagging is the easier of the two, I tried to get 35 cars tagged before I reach heat level 5. Mind you, it required starting with a heat 1 car with 0% progress, so I had to switch cars a lot.

I did it with Gallardo, with 12:15.24, 35 tagged police cars, and 929,600 bounty. I know the time was close, but had I tried to get the extra 45 seconds, I'd probably ended up being busted. For bounty, I guess what contributed, was the 200,000 bonus for getting the tagging achievement. Did I mention I love The Rockport Tunnel? It's a great way to shake cops, even helicopters, as it features a hiding spot, and a pursuit breaker just before that. This is exactly what I did: destroyed the last three cars behind me, and sat it out in the hideout. As I already have a picture of my Gallardo, here is my Murciélago in that hiding spot:

I said that on the first level, it takes six minutes to reach heat 2, but it does not take that long in all the levels, otherwise the thirteen minute chase would be a piece of cake. If I remember correctly, in the final level, and also after completing it, it takes two minutes to heat 2, four minutes to heat 3, six minutes to heat 4, and ten minutes to heat 5. This means that if you are not looking for them on purpose, you can avoid police Corvettes until the final level, as Bull's endurance milestone is nine minutes.

If you have achieved five required milestones, it's time take on races. You don't have to wait with racing until you have milestones, but you can't enter the blacklist races until you have milestones, so you might as well wait. Either way, when you are ready to race, here are my picks for this level:

Industrial & Bristol a hard sprint. It looks perfect for a quick 25,000 money boost, since it's from a bridge to a roundabout, but the opponents are usually biting your ankles, so one slight bump into something, and you'll likely have to re-race. Here is a video of some wrong moves on this track.

Hastings, a challenging circuit. Not much longer than those a level earlier, but it has some tight curves.

Petersburg & Camden, a long tollbooth, covering all three boroughs. Too bad there is no race that long, but you race with a timer, so you'll have some competition. In some aspects, a race with timer can be more challenging than a race with opponent cars.

Highway 2001, a fairly tricky sprint. No tight turns like you'd find in the downtown or the coastal area, but some are pretty radical curves.

Marina & Lennox, a tollbooth that takes you through the football stadium, and the marina. The price for these sights is a lengthy track, so if you only want to see the sights, you will be better off driving there in the free roam mode.

Bay Bridge & Seaside, a sprint covering all boroughs. It mostly covers Rosewood, taking you through the town, but not too much hassle.

Now, turn on autosave, it's time for the final challenge of the game. I am not talking about Razor. Racing him is tiresome, as he has five races, but Ronnie and Bull are actually harder. As I told you before, autosave is needed for this, as there is no option to save after beating razor. If you had autosave off when entering to race Razor, in the better scenario, when you quit the game during final pursuit, and continue to play later, you will have to race Razor again. Or worse, you'll have to re-race Razor every time you get busted in the final pursuit. And you'll get busted a lot, it took me 21 times to finally evade.

I am unsure which scenario applies, as I had read that the autosave is needed for the final race, so I had it on. As for the pursuit, you'll get a special heat 6 pursuit, with black Corvettes and supercharged rhinos, plus Cross himself. Black Corvettes are faster, and more durable than white Corvettes. Supercharged rhinos are also stronger than heavy rhinos, and they have nitro. You can not evade heat 6 until Mia calls you.

I did the final pursuit in a different way than walkthroughs suggest. Instead of running through the town, knocking off pursuit breakers, and waiting on top of the busses at bus station, I turned around right at the start, went to the highway, and just circled, until Mia called. After evading the pursuit the first time, I took a save I had stored in a remote folder, re-raced the pursuit, and made a video of it. From the video, you see that in attempt to hold speed I leaned to the right, and bumped into the bridge's railing. First time I jumped off clean, but when I was making a video, I once almost evaded, but had too low speed while jumping off the bridge, and it showed me not making it to the other side, so that is why I tried so hard to avoid the police cars in the video. Like the video isn't enough, here is a picture proving I have the BMW:

Now that the career is completed, you may want to pay attention to the percentage of the completion, I think I had 87% completion upon putting the big pursuit behind me. I am now at 99%, and the only thing not done is the thirteen minute pursuit milestone. However, my overall completion of the game is 90%, since I am at 57% in the challenge series. I would say challenge series is harder than career, as you don't get to choose your car, you get to personally experience just how poorly heat 1 cop cars handle, and you have to ride regular traffic cars, like taxi cab, and pizza delivery. They do have nitrous, although it is not much help, and a garbage truck with nitrous seems weird.

While you do your skipped achievements in the career, or just re-race for fun, you might want to max out your garage. I read someone mention that you can have a maximum of 12 cars. I have 25, and when I try to buy a new one, the game tells me my garage is full. Maybe you can only purchase 10 cars, but there is room for all possible pink slips, and the guy just had only won two. I did buy the Ford GT, and discovered that the stripe 1 vinyl for this instance is actually the manufacturer vinyl, with the text Ford GT on the side:

Most Wanted is the second game in the series to include free roam. The first, Underground 2, did feature some interesting areas like the train depot, commercial port, and some courtyards, but Most Wanted has much richer scenery, some of which you'll never visit in any race. I have giving you subtle hints to those areas. The Supra screenshot is taken on the baseball stadium; Cayman is on the American Football stadium; Gallardo, although right beside the road, is in a gas station; Corvette is in that bus station I have mentioned a few times; Carrera GT is on campus; Murciélago, as already mentioned, is in The Rockport Tunnel; BMW is on festival grounds; and Ford GT is in the parking lot outside the baseball stadium. There is also a golf course on the map, and here is a picture of the clubhouse of that golf course, along with my pink Porsche:

There is also a Black Edition of the game. Don't worry, when you only have the regular version of the game, you will not miss much. The most notable difference is in car list - you get Chevrolet Camaro SS, and the street version of BMW M3 GTR. The Black Edition also features additional races, a special challenge, and a special feature DVD that contains few interviews and videos relating to the game. You can find the videos on Youtube, but they are not very exciting. Also, the two mentioned cars, plus eight specially tuned cars, are available from bonus car list in quick race mode, and not available in career. So, the career in Black Edition is the same as regular edition. There is no 16th blacklist member, that was a work in progress idea, shown in a video in the demo, but in the final game, you race him in the intro sequence.

As of this date, both editions are available at US Amazon (I only checked there), but I advise you to buy the cheaper regular edition, as the Black Edition is three times more expensive. Then again, if you are a collector, you'd buy the standard edition, the Black Edition, the standard edition with a silver frame that says EA Classics, and don't forget both the CD and the DVD pressing of the standard edition. I have the DVD one, but apparently, it originally came out as 4 CDs.

A funny little thing about a hideout: since the cops can drive through the hideout near the baseball stadium, you can be in clear sight of the cops, but if you are directly in the hideout circle, they can't see you. However, this happened to me while hiding bar was progressing. It may not work otherwise, as like I told you before, the hiding bar appears only while the cooldown has been started before arriving at the hiding spot.

One more tip: turn the game music off. Game music is constantly interrupted with loading screens and race restarts anyway, so put on your playlist in a music player, adjust the volume in both the player and the game, and you can enjoy your favourite music while still hearing the police radio, and the sound effects. I have speech volume level higher than engine and sound effects, so I hear police radio over the music, but still hear music over the engine, and the tire screeching.

He turned to his disciples smiled and asked.

"Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?"

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, "Because we lose our calm, we shout.".

"But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.", asked the saint

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples.
Finally the saint explained,

"When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.

What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small..."

The saint continued, "When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other."

He looked at his disciples and said:

"So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return."

Hope you found his answer both enlightening as well as useful in your life :)Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-49839105227612011622011-12-05T02:02:00.002+02:002011-12-05T02:10:29.844+02:00Suvetop '97

01. Okay, I rickrolled you. But what if that link would not have been to the famous video?

The copied letter had Facebook logo and backround, and it even had the disclaimer of please click to unsubscribe, so it could have very easily fooled me, if I didn't know that sites do not message and ask to log on. And of course, when you hover over the link, the status bar tells you where the link leads, and it led to http://rssemily.cz/cache/www.facebook.com/login.php (don't go to this address).

And similaly to my ingenious rickroll, there has been a somewhat of a new trend to trick people like this. The example of this Facebook password fishing I copied was of very high quality, I mean, as far as fishing goes. But I have also recieved letters like (abuse of grammar intended):

hi how are you. i remember you always used to tell me you had trouble with you weight well i found this new diet that really works bbc.com/news/weight.html

See? With Castle Age as well. The summoner must have the last hit, speedkills make better loot, specific items to Kobo will give you Celesta's Devotion... At least one of the rumours says you need to give Kobo eggs. This log kind of proves that this is not necessarily always the case. Incidentally, it also proves the general Kobo might not only allow 8 items instead of 10, but also will limit the rolls to 8 instead of 10.

Green dragon eggs:

1) Earth Orb [3/4]!
2) Poseidons Horn [7/3]!
3) Demonic Sword [8/5]!
4) Atlantean Archer [12/10]!
5) Deathrune Signet [9/6]!
6) Pauldrons of Light [5/11]! So, this is a guide concentrating on what not to do.

What not to do in guild battles

Avoid hitting clerics you have doubts about winning, especially the inactive ones. Mages are to avoided, too, the same principle applies, except losing to a cleric is worse.

If you are not unusually strong on attack, your safe target is about 100 levels below you. If you lose to cleric. they will heal all opponent players in their gate with 10 health. If you lose to a mage, he inflicts 10 damage to all members in you guild who are in the same gate as you.

If a player has 2,000+ heath, it maybe more useful to hit those who have less than 2,000, especially in one hour festival battles, because you will waste all tokens on one target, and it may not be wise. Trying to take down an opponent with 6,000 health is generally a waste of tokens, especially when you are stunned and hit with ~33% of your damage.

Useful tips, and how can they turn bad

You always win against a polymorphed target. If you have a strong mage to polymorph for you, and if the target can be polymorphed, you can win them, no matter how tiny your strength. When an opponent is polymorphed, they have an icon next to their name, and when you slide your mouse over it, it says polymorph. However, if a mage and a rogue have announced teamwork on a target, intervening can be hazardous.

It is also not recommended to hit a morphed target when you are stunned. Generally mages morph targets nobody can win against otherwise. If you are stunned and hit with your decreased damage, a mage has to use up another token to morph the target, resulting the mage using 2 or 3 tokens where they could just have used 1.

You do 45 points more damage to a poisoned target, but as above, it is not recommended to hit a poisoned target when stunned. And unlike against a morphed target, you can lose to a poisoned target.

If your objective is to farm coins, and you encounter a small guild, or if victory is ensured, clerics and mages do not have to attack to get points. Clerics can heal, and mages can polymorph, both can be done multiple times on the same target. Also, you may want to keep some enemy clerics alive, and smaller levels to suicide against them, so they'd generate more hittable players.

Opponents that you may want to avoid

These abilities are unfortunately undetectable until someone attacks the opponent, and it could be helpful to inform your guild when you see those.

A rogue with evade. This ability gives owner a chance to evade damage. If you attack someone and you win, but they evade, it is actually a loss, considering your got nothing for wasting a token. Battle points, yes, but not what you went for.

A rogue with Deshara. Upon victory, a rogue does more damage than other classes anyway, but a rogue with Deshara does extra 40 damage.

A mage with Zurran. But when you are stunned, suiciding rogues can be preferred, because you can't lose any more health.

When you are stunned, you can be useful to your guild in making suicide attacks to the highest rogues or warriors you can find, assuming it's sensible to attack them.

Normal guild battle considers you stunned when you have 0 heath, festival guild battle considers at 200 health. For both types of battle, members are subtracted from guild health bar, if they have health below 200.

Opponents can use their powers whet they have health above 0. For that reason, inactive members should be hit below 200, but actives should be taken completely down.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-91946295721832362872011-05-03T14:02:00.005+03:002011-05-03T14:07:47.443+03:00On divine itemsDon't take it blindly as truth, but I surmise that divine items only have effect when you equip them in battle, meaning if you have divine demi items, but have stronger items in said category, you won't use divine items.

If my theory is correct, Force of Nature is ineffective when you have Transcendence. According to castleage.wikia.com, on attack, Transcendence is stronger than Force of Nature. You may not have Transcendence, but I do, so Force of Nature will not be useful to me, but if I get Heart of the Woods, it will be also my strongest weapon, so I'll use it. The same goes for Aegis of the Kings.

I am so glad that on a hunch, I started to pursue Heart of the Woods. Imagine my disappointment when I finally combine Force of Nature, and find out the game does not let me use it. You get penalty for good items, as Alessia worded it.

I have the four divine demi items, but I have no use for them, except in invades. I do not regret having stronger weapons, but I hope I won't get anything stronger that Heart of the Woods. Unless it is a divine weapon.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-44621577818866088582011-05-01T16:28:00.002+03:002011-05-01T16:34:35.895+03:00Invade lost giftsFirst, the best way to get gifts is from Facebook gift page, so always accept from there first.

However, when that list is empty, but Castle Age main page or army page shows you have gifts, go to army page, if not there already. In there, you see these gifts, but instead of clicking accept all or accept, right click on ignore, copy the link, paste the link in address bar, but do not hit enter! Replace ignore with acpt (in the link) then hit enter. That way you will accept the gift.

Oh, and when you want to send a gift to a certain friend but their name won't appear on the all friends list, you or you friend have unreceived gifts from each other. In that case, you also have to do this.

This is how the right-click menu looks like on Firefox. It says copy link address in Google Chrome and Opera, and copy shortcut in Internet Explorer.

The link you then paste to the addree bar looks like this:

http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/army.php?act=ignore&uid=1098450478

When you have pasted it, do not hit enter! You have to change it to:

http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/army.php?act=acpt&uid=1098450478Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-23330897454249122652011-03-30T10:23:00.003+03:002011-03-30T10:34:26.757+03:00Some might sayPringles: You don't have Exsanguinator?
Pringles: If you want Exsanguinator, it's very easy to get considering its strength. In guild monsters, the only sensible class to be is rogue.
Estrella: I'm being whatever Lay's says.
Pringles: Usually 20,000 damage to Baby Vincent will get you two epics, and it is the maximum you can get.
Estrella: We're not doing Vincents, Cheetos says the loot's naff in return for what you have to invest.
Pringles: Lay's can command you in guild battles, but in guild monsters, it is only sensible to be a rogue. Our guild does not have Cheetos, and we do Vincents regularly. Exsanguinator is shitloads easier to get than Hellblade, Stormcrusher or Staff of Jahanna. I just don't understand your guild.
Estrella: Leave my guild alone!! ;) LOL
Pringles: Yes, I spent 250 stamina making 58,500 damage to Baby Vincent, but it gives me more than good chance to get 2 epics, whilst to get a fair chance to get 2 epics from all recent monsters, you have to spend at least 1,000 stamina.
Estrella: I thought they were based on damage (except the dragons and other sta monsters).
Pringles: They are based on damage. But you still need stamina to do damage, not pigeon poop.
Estrella: Or attack.
Pringles: Or attack, yes, but still stamina too. And attack only decides if you win or lose, but not how much damage you make.
Estrella: Good, I wasn't planning on pooping on Vincent.

Some time later

Pringles: I have 11 Exsanguinators. If I get some tonight, I will tell you that. Also, I ask your permission to put that conversation to my blog, names changed, and irrelevant talk cut out.
Estrella: Don't forget to write that the girl you were talking to was incredibly beautiful, intelligent and articulate... Did I forget talented, knowledgeable and modest too?

I didn't get the Exsaguinator, but I got the Swarm of Darkness, which I also have 11 of

On duels, it's of course better to have Heart of the Woods and Divine Blast, but on invades and wars, Vincent loot is always handy. Plus the Swarm of Darkness is the best obtainable spell in the game, if you haven't been or done good in arenas and are not able to achieve 30 to 50 million in Convirtheus repeatedly.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-9636569315619047812011-03-13T23:50:00.001+02:002011-03-14T00:05:19.714+02:00On the Tower of TranscendenceThe ultimate goal in Tower of Transcendence is to unlock Agamemnon, who can not be summoned under monsters tab. From Agamemnon you can get pieces to combine Aegis of the Kings, the best shield in the game. Also, you can get a weapon and a helmet, which are stronger than the Exsanguinator and the Helm of Dragon Power, and a glove slightly weaker than Gauntlet of Fire.

If you don't have divine items, like Force of Nature (get ingredient from Jahanna), please don't fight Agamemnon, because Agamemnon has divine armor, it will prevent 1/3 damage. Only items with divine power can remove the armor power.

If you have joined another player's Agamemnon and have defeated it, the summon button on the boss floor of your own tower will appear. However, the game will not allow you to summon Agamemnon if you have not unlocked his floor yet. So don't believe the rumours.

Clicking the summon button on any other floor will summon one of the four monsters in that rank. You cannot choose which one. That means you can get unlucky and summon the dame monster over and over again. Festival monsters have a cooldown period in which you cannot summon another.

Festival monsters do not show up on your keep. They are found in festival monster list. You can get the link by right-clicking on engage and copying the link location. Getting the link from the battle by clicking call to arms button and copying the link (in blue) will result in helping link, regardless of you not publishing. The &action=doObjective in the link makes the link to help launch weapons.

It may be wise to not CTA too soon. You can request no CTAs until a given time, you can set damage limit. If the monster is not critical, please let everyone to do the required amount to get the points. The requirements are posted here (some data may be missing).

Points at a given rank count only within the rank. For example, if the highest you have unlocked is silver rank, fighting bronze rank monsters will earn you points in bronze rank, fighting gold rank monsters will earn you points in gold rank - when you unlock gold, the points are waiting.

Festival may not be necessarily worth it. If you really think about it, Aegis of the Kings' total attack is only 7 points higher that of the Sword of Redemption and total defence is 10 points higher, whereas our total attack is 100% attack skill + 70% defence skill + 100% general's attack + 70% general's defence + 100% weapons' attack + 70% weapons' defence; the same in reverse for defence. If, for example, your total attack is 1,750; will 7 points really change that much?

Then again, it is fun, and an achievement within the game. Besides, if you hunt monsters anyway, no real difference between festival and regular monsters, since loot is the same.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-45448221787530971592011-03-09T15:51:00.003+02:002011-03-15T02:38:30.963+02:00To create a CA accountWhen one does start a monster hunter account, one can add attack and defence, just note my recommendation - first goal: 300 stamina and defence, second goal: 600 stamina and defence. Or in any case, equal.

Why those numbers? If one has 288 of both resources, it takes 24 hours to grow back. If one has 576, it takes 48 hours, so one can be away for two days and not waste anything. And round numbers are just cooler. If one's monster hunter account is not specific to defence or attack, equal amounts rule. If one has 100 stamina and 400 energy, one's stamina refills in 8 hours 20 minutes, but one's energy is only 25% refilled, and it looks horrible. And if one is away 33 hours 20 minutes, one's energy has refilled, but one has wasted stamina.

And one can be given a link which gives one 20 FPs as a welcome gift. One has 20 FPs at the start, and another 20 makes one have 40 FPs. However, it is recommended to start thinking about refills when one has 200+ resources, otherwise it feels like a waste. I mean refill 48 stamina - can't one just wait 4 hours? One sleeps longer than that, so it's like paying for stuff one would get free during the night. Yes, it is true that any amount of stamina is free if one is patient enough, but monsters do not flee in four to ten hours, but they do in four to ten days.

With 40 FPs at the start, one is wiser to buy a monthly of one's choice. I consider the following useful:

Scarlett: 6% income boost (Mercedes has 5%, but the larger the income, the valuable the 1%)

Solara: transfers 20% max energy to max stamina on skillpoint value (2 energy for 1 stamina)

Godric: +20 max energy

Barbarus: threefold hits (both attacks and defendings use 3x the resource, and hit 3x as hard)

Maalvus: Same power as Barbarus, but with +3% critical

Deshara: +40 additional damage as rogue upon guild victory

Critical boosting generals are junk. All general have base critical of 10%, and generals with player attack bonus seem to increase that.Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7384019483532132933.post-69087447263196563232011-03-07T14:50:00.001+02:002011-03-07T14:52:28.788+02:00Facebook is more important than gravityA new study in the UK has just revealed that six out of every ten British youths ranks the invention of Facebook more important than the apple-induced revelation by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg beat loads of other world changers like Martin Luther King Jr. and Albert Einstein in the poll which surveyed 1,000 Brits under the age of 25. More often than never, it actually prevents you from seeing the content you need, and often manually deleting "blahblahblah#!" helps. Sadly, not always, so you end up knowing someone commented your post, you keep clicking that notification, even go to your profile, still you can't see it.

And if you do not like the new theatre viewing of photos, you need to delete "&theatre". It is annoying when all of a sudden you have a big black square in your screen, at least for me. And if the attempt was to create some sort of fullscreen mode, sorry, it goes only as wide as Facebook main frame goes. Is it like 800 pixels? My screen has 1920 in width, so it looks ugly. Theatre mode should go as wide as user's resolution, and it should be optional, not mandatory.

To illustrate both cases, here's an URL:

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_203531063007095&id=204718789554989¬if_t=like#!/photo.php?fbid=1251688946308&set=a.1251685266216.31247.1652061947&theater

See? And that "set=blahblahblah" is not really needed either, so the above URL can be shortened to this:

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1251688946308Peeterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13031883197236724419noreply@blogger.com0
